On Wednesday, October 7th at 3:00 PM, Garvey Intermediate will be having it's annual Title I meeting via zoom (a link will be emailed at a later date). At this meeting, we will discuss Title I program goals, parent rights under Title I, academic standards, benchmark results, Title I programs and services, parent involvement policies, and school-parent compact. Translation will be provided in Chinese, Spanish, and Vietnamese. 

 

On Monday, October 14th, Garvey Intermediate will have an election for School Site Council (SSC) and English Language Advisory Committee (ELAC) via Google Form. If you would like to participate on either the SSC or ELAC, please request an Intent to Run Form from the school office. All Intent to Run Forms must be turned in by Monday, October 12th. The SSC council will help to develop the school plan focusing on the budget and purchases of schoolwide programs. ELAC is a committee that advises SSC specifically on English Learner needs. 

On Monday, October 19th at 3:00 PM will be the first ELAC meeting. 

On Wednesday, October 21st at 1:00 PM will be the first SSC meeting.
